Alibaba High-traffic Commerce and Live Engineering
Owned high-traffic cross-platform web engineering, micro-frontends, ad attribution, logging SDKs, JsBridge, and performance optimization across Alibaba Taobao and Local Services.
Overview
At Alibaba Taobao and Local Services, worked on high-traffic cross-platform web engineering, micro-frontends, ad attribution, logging SDKs, JsBridge, and performance optimization across live interaction, content scenarios, ad delivery, and merchant analytics.
Built a foundation in platform abstraction, performance governance, cross-team execution, and commercial workflow engineering under high-traffic business conditions.
Taobao Live
In Taobao Live, the web interaction layer work covered:
- Evolved isolated Weex components into H5 micro-frontend orchestration with unified layout, routing, event bus, and communication contracts.
- Supported Weex, H5, and multiple web technology stacks during architecture migration.
- Used SSR, HTTP2/HTTP1 resource strategies, and rendering optimization to protect first-screen experience in complex business and weak-network environments.
- Related performance targets reached FCP < 1.5s class experience, close to the original Weex implementation.
Local Services Commercialization
In Alibaba Local Services commercial promotion, the work centered on ad delivery, order attribution, and merchant operating data:
- Designed a shell / iframe micro-frontend architecture to standardize sub-application communication, routing, static resource loading, and deployment.
- Built Vue and React scaffolds, cross-platform JsBridge, ad logging SDK, and reusable component libraries.
- Supported H5 delivery and mini-program development across Ele.me, Taobao, Alipay, WeChat, and related channels.
- Contributed to key commercial workflows from user ordering and ad billing to order attribution and merchant business analysis.
- Built SSR-based marketing-page performance improvements; related scenarios improved FCP by about 40% and reached FCP < 1.8s.
Platform Value
Established three practical engineering foundations:
- Reliability and performance thinking under high-traffic business conditions.
- Platform abstraction across teams, technology stacks, and client containers.
- Logging, attribution, SDK, and commercial workflow awareness, which transfer directly to Agent trace, tool audit, and usage/cost governance.
